Congratulations Neave

I want to congratulate one of our senior young carers, Neave, who achieved a Merit in her English Speaking Exam. Neave chose “Young Carers” as her topic, because being a young carer herself, Neave recognised that it was something which was and is not only very close to heart, but also an area that many people still know little about. Neave explained to me that she wanted to raise awareness of the plight of young carers and she also commented on how surprised her English teacher was at the statistics and information that she provided. Well Done Neave, we are all really proud of you, being able to stand up and talk about a subject so personal to you requires great courage. Rachel x
