The Hidden Voices Project was finalised with an exhibition of the works of our young carers at the Towngate Theatre.

Hidden Voices Film
“Hidden Voices” is a creative project exploring creative writing and photography to amplify the voices of young carers, sensitively exploring their experience and achievements, It is being run in partnership between Elevator Arts and Kool Carers and is funded through Essex County Councils Arts and Cultural Fund.
The project will take place over 5 Saturday workshops culminating in a celebration and exhibition at the Towngate Theatre, Basildon to coincide with National Carers Week 2023.
This project is for young carers between the ages of 12 and 15 years of age.

Time: 10am-3pm
Exhibition dates:
Saturday 3rd June (time tbc) Private viewing and celebration event
The Exhibition will be available until 11th June.
