Parent & Grandparent Group

We have recently started a parent/grandparent group, which takes place on the third Wednesday of every month, between 6.30pm -8.30pm at the King Edward Community Centre, Laindon.  The group is a closed group, which allows the parents and grandparents of the young carers we support to come together once a month, in-order to try and help reduce some of the isolation and loneliness that many of the families may experience.

This is a safe place for the adults to talk, listen to invited guest speakers, share experiences and have fun.

The programmes of events, decided by the group are as follows;

19^th September 2018:             Arts and Crafts with Hanli

17^th October 2018:                  Weapons Awareness with Bob

21st  November 2018:             Arts and Crafts for Christmas

19^th December 2018:              Christmas Bingo
